Illinois High School Basketball - Kaneland knocks off Marmion
December 7, 2024: Maple Park, IL 60151 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) and the visiting Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), observed Kaneland's basketball team overcome Marmion by a margin of 57-49.
The Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL). The Bengals come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Oak Forest defeated Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL), 73-60, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cadets battle the Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Marmion will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Friars come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 59-45 non-league win over Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL).
