The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA) and the host Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA), observed Paulding County's basketball team knock off Kennesaw Mountain by a score of 66-57.

The Patriots (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA). The Hawks come into the AAAAAA Region 3 challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Hillgrove prevailed over Osborne (Marietta, GA), 60-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Kennesaw Mountain will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 79-70 league loss to Alexander (Douglasville, GA).
