December 7, 2024: Springfield, MO 65807 Kickapoo Chiefs (Springfield, MO) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO), 57-31 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Kickapoo upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Chiefs host Battle (Columbia, MO) to face the Spartans in a non-league match on Friday, December 20. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 3-0.
The Lancers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westminster Christian for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Lafayette will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 67-27 non-league win over Miller Career Academy (St. Louis, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
