New Mexico High School Basketball - Los Alamos routed by West Mesa
December 7, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87121 West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), 71-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Mesa upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Matadors in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 11. The Matadors enter the match with a record of 4-0. Sandia won 80-74 in their recent non-league match against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM)
The Hilltoppers now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valencia for a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. Los Alamos will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 70-57 non-league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-4.
