The Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) basketball edged the host Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders (Chula Vista, CA), 57-53 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Parrots now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host St. Genevieve for a non-league bout on Monday, December 9. Poly will play a Valiants team coming off a 54-51 non-league loss to Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA). The Valiants record now stands at 4-5.
