Missouri High School Basketball - Montgomery County knocks off Mexico
December 7, 2024: Mexico, MO 65265 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Montgomery County Wildcats (Montgomery City, MO) and the host Mexico Bulldogs (Mexico, MO), observed Montgomery County's basketball team overcome Mexico by a score of 70-56.
The Wildcats (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern Boone (Ashland, MO). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Southern Boone dropped by Eugene (Eugene, MO), 71-65, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Marshall Owls (Marshall, MO) in a North Central Missouri challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Mexico will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 49-41 non-league win over Versailles (Versailles, MO).
