In Saturday's non-league contest, the host St. John Paul II Academy Eagles basketball team scored a good 63-44 triumph over the Monsignor Pace Spartans.

The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Somerset Academy Key (Deerfield Beach, FL). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Somerset Academy Key topped Varsity Opponent (, ), 74-24, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans confront the Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 9.
