The Monte Alto Blue Devil basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Three Rivers Bulldogs to 38 in the Blue Devil non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blue Devil now have a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Odem for a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. Monte Alto will confront a Owls team coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to Agua Dulce (Agua Dulce, TX). The Owls record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Three Rivers falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host McMullen County (Tilden, TX) to confront the Cowboys in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10.
