The New Castle Hurricanes basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting South Allegheny Gladiators to 43 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hurricanes now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Beaver Falls for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. New Castle will confront a Tigers team coming off a 54-27 non-league loss to Hickory (Hermitage, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, South Allegheny falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Washington (Washington, PA) to confront the Prexies in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Prexies go into the game with a record of 2-1.
