The St. Charles North North Stars nipped the host South Elgin Storm basketball squad by a final score of 49-45 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the North Stars face the Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL) in a DuKane outing, on Wednesday, December 11. St. Charles North will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 4-1 record after their 40-32 league win over Lake Park (Roselle, IL).

The Storm (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks enter the Upstate Eight outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, West Aurora got by Bartlett (Bartlett, IL), 68-65, in a league outing.
