The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs (White Plains, MD) and the host Sts. Peter & Paul Sabres (Easton, MD), observed Southern Maryland Christian Academy's basketball team overwhelm Sts. Peter & Paul by a score of 76-52.

The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Calverton (Huntingtown, MD). The come into the Maryland Independent challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Calverton trounced The Lab School of Washington (Washington, DC), 82-58, in a non-league challenge.
