December 7, 2024: New Berlin, NY 13411 Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils (Verona, NY) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Unadilla Valley Storm (New Berlin, NY), 56-29 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill advances its record to 1-2 on the year. The Red Devils host Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY) to face the Thunder in a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Pioneer match on Tuesday, December 10. The Thunder enter the match with a record of 1-0. Central Valley Academy won 54-51 in their recent non-league match against Herkimer (Herkimer, NY)
The Storm now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stamford Central for a non-league match on Monday, December 9.
