Virginia High School Basketball - Amherst County routs North Cross

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Amherst County Lancers basketball team scored a big 62-24 triumph over the North Cross Raiders.

The Lancers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Raiders go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Appomattox County was trounced by Carlisle (Axton, VA), 69-32, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders confront the Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA) in a VISAA Blue Ridge contest, on Thursday, December 12. North Cross will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record.
