Washington, DC High School Basketball - Sidwell Friends knocks off Archbishop Wood

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Sidwell Friends Quakers basketball team scored a good 60-51 win over the Archbishop Wood Vikings.

The Quakers (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Mighty Hoppers come into the DCSAA contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Georgetown Day was topped by Coolidge (Washington, DC), 56-23, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league contest, on Sunday, December 8. Archbishop Wood will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
