December 7, 2024: Big Bear City, CA 92386 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Southlands Christian Eagles (Rowland Heights, CA) and the host Big Bear Bears (Big Bear City, CA), observed Southlands Christian's basketball team knock off Big Bear by a score of 26-11.
The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvary Chapel (Downey, CA). The Grizzlies come into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Calvary Chapel was knocked off by Centennial (Compton, CA), 78-18, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears encounter the Silver Valley Trojans (Yermo, CA) in a Cross Valley challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Big Bear will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 47-34 league win over Academy for Academic Excellence (Apple Valley, CA).
