December 7, 2024: Mumford, TX 77867 The Mumford Mustangs basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Burnet Bulldogs to 34 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Troy for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Mumford will confront a Trojans team coming off a 48-18 non-league win over Holland (Holland, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Burnet falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Brownwood (Brownwood, TX) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Lions go into the game with a record of 10-5. Brownwood won 56-47 in their recent non-league game against Jarrell (Jarrell, TX)
