Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Lovett Lions (Atlanta, GA), 58-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Central advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Lions host Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA) to face the Tigers in a AAAA Region 3 match on Friday, December 13. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 5-3.

The Lions now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carver for a AA Region 5 match on Tuesday, December 10. Lovett will face a Panthers squad coming off a 52-40 non-league win over South Atlanta (Atlanta, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.
