The Collegiate Cougars basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Episcopal Maroon to 41 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Steward for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. Collegiate will play a Spartans team coming off a 42-39 non-league loss to L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Episcopal falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Maroon travel to Holton-Arms (Bethesda, MD) to play the in a Girls Independent - Division 2 game on Tuesday, December 10. The go into the game with a record of 2-1. Holton-Arms won 50-48 in their recent non-league game against Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA)
