December 7, 2024: Jeannette, PA 15644 The Derry Trojans (Derry, PA) basketball were winner over the host Jeannette Jayhawks (Jeannette, PA), 44-34 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Geibel Catholic for a non-league bout on Monday, December 9. Derry will play a Gators team coming off a 62-11 non-league win over Steel Valley (Munhall, PA). The Gators record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Jeannette falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Jayhawks travel to Springdale (Springdale, PA) to play the Dynamos in a non-league bout on Monday, December 9.
