In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Glenn Grizzlies basketball team scored a good 53-45 triumph over the Westlake Chaparrals.

The Grizzlies (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against Seven Lakes (Katy, TX). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Seven Lakes was topped by Chaparral (Killeen, TX), 54-24, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Chaparrals battle the Akins Eagles (Austin, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 26 contest, on Friday, December 13. Westlake will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record.
