Texas High School Basketball - Hondo victorious over Pleasanton
December 7, 2024: Hondo, TX 78861 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Hondo Owls basketball team scored a good 44-29 triumph over the Pleasanton Eagles.
The Owls (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Carrizo Springs topped Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX), 39-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Carrizo Springs Wildcats (Carrizo Springs, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 27 contest, on Friday, December 13. Pleasanton will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 12-6 record after their 58-42 non-league win over KIPP Somos Collegiate (San Antonio, TX).
