December 7, 2024: Mankato, MN 56001 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Loyola Crusaders (Mankato, MN) and the visiting Math & Science Academy Dragons (Woodbury, MN), observed Loyola's basketball team overwhelm Math & Science Academy by a score of 79-21.
The Crusaders (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Minnesota Valley Lutheran trounced Springfield (Springfield, MN), 57-54, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Dragons encounter the Twin Cities Academy/Great River (St. Paul, MN) in a AA Section 4 challenge, on Monday, December 9. Math & Science Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
