In Saturday's non-league contest, the host West Potomac Wolverines basketball team scored a close 54-50 triumph over the Maret Frogs.

The Wolverines (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Majors go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.

In their next game, the Frogs confront the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings (Buckeystown, MD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Maret will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 61-51 non-league loss to St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD).
