In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Saint Mary's Hall Barons basketball team scored a close 51-47 triumph over the Somerset Bulldogs.

The Barons (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Anthony (San Antonio, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the TAPPS 5A District 3 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, St. Anthony was tipped by Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX), 34-32, in a non-league contest.
