Alabama High School Basketball - Sylvania thwarts Skyline
December 7, 2024: Scottsboro, AL 35768 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sylvania Rams (Sylvania, AL) and the host Skyline Vikings (Scottsboro, AL), observed Sylvania's basketball team knock off Skyline by a score of 43-31.
The Rams (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Fyffe (Fyffe, AL). The Red Devils come into the 3A Area 13 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Fyffe prevailed over Valley Head (Valley Head, AL), 56-33, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Ider Hornets (Ider, AL) in a 1A Area 16 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Skyline will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 73-33 league win over Woodville (Woodville, AL).
