The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) and the host Waxahachie Indians (Waxahachie, TX), observed Southlake Carroll's basketball team knock off Waxahachie by a score of 56-46.

The Dragons (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Keller (Keller, TX). The Indians come into the 6A Region I District 4 challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Keller prevailed over Richland (North Richland Hills, TX), 44-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians encounter the DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Waxahachie will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 70-60 non-league win over Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK).
