December 7, 2024: Anthony, NM 88021 Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Canutillo Eagles (Canutillo, TX), 31-17 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Gadsden advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Panthers host Deming (Deming, NM) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Eagles now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a match on Tuesday, December 10. Canutillo will face a Rangers squad coming off a 34-0 non-league loss to Americas (El Paso, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 0-2.
