Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Grosse Pointe North holds off Woodhaven
December 7, 2024: Grosse Pointe, MI 48236 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Grosse Pointe North Norsemen ice hockey team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Woodhaven Warriors.
The Norsemen (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Warriors go into the Catholic A contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Brother Rice was nipped by St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH), 7-1, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors play the Cabrini Monarchs (Allen Park, MI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. Woodhaven will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
