In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Ceres Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 44-40 triumph over the Downey Knights.

The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA). The Red Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record.
