Washington High School Basketball - Kennewick bested by Evergreen
December 7, 2024: Vancouver, WA 98684 Evergreen Plainsmen (Vancouver, WA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Kennewick Lions (Kennewick, WA), 42-31 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Evergreen advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Plainsmen host Jefferson (Portland, OR) to face the Democrats in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 11. The Democrats enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Lions now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southridge for a non-league match on Friday, December 13. Kennewick will face a Suns squad coming off a 63-40 non-league win over Shadle Park (Spokane, WA). The Suns record now stands at 1-1.
