Arizona High School Soccer - Mountain Ridge nudged by Sunrise Mountain
December 7, 2024: Glendale, AZ 85310 Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Sunrise Mountain moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 10. The Knights come into the test with a record of 1-3. Arizona College Prep lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ)
The Mountain Lions now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilbert for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 11. Mountain Ridge will meet a Tigers team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Camelback (Phoenix, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
