December 7, 2025: Chantilly, VA 22030 In Sunday's non-league test, the Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) basketball squad topped the visiting McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), by a count of 52-39.
With the victory, Paul VI advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Panthers host Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC) to meet the Quakers in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 11. The Quakers enter the battle with a record of 1-0. Sidwell Friends won 77-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA)
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) in a IAAM A challenge, on Wednesday, December 10. McDonogh will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 69-34 league win over Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD).
