The Sandusky Redskins basketball team scored 89 points and held the host Caro Tigers to 85 in the Redskins league triumph on Wednesday.

The Redskins now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bad Axe for a non-league contest on Friday, December 10. Sandusky will battle a Hatchets team coming off a 75-44 non-league win over North Huron (Kinde, MI). The Hatchets record now stands at 1-0.

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ubly (Ubly, MI). The Bearcats enter the Greater Thumb - East contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Ubly was nudged by Cass City (Cass City, MI), 78-41, in a league contest.
