The Auburn Mountainview Lions basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Mt. Rainier Rams to 57 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kentridge for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Auburn Mountainview will battle a Chargers team coming off a 74-67 non-league win over Mariner (Everett, WA). The Chargers record now stands at 2-1.

The Rams (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Beamer (Federal Way, WA). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Beamer was nudged by Kentwood (Covington, WA), 56-55, in a league contest.
