Michigan High School Basketball - Bloomingdale knocked off by Countryside Academy
December 8, 2022: Bloomingdale, MI 49026 The Countryside Academy Cougar basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Bloomingdale Cardinals to 45 in the Cougar non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougar now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Buffalo for a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White contest on Friday, December 9. Countryside Academy will meet a Bison team coming off a 45-35 non-league loss to Decatur (Decatur, MI). The Bison record now stands at 0-1.
The Cardinals (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Marcellus (Marcellus, MI). The Wildcats enter the Southwest 10 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Marcellus was outscored by Lawton (Lawton, MI), 54-48, in a non-league contest.
