Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX) and the host Blue Ridge Tigers (Blue Ridge, TX), saw Gainesville's basketball squad hold off Blue Ridge by a tally of 65-63.

With the victory, Gainesville improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX) to play the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Wolfe City lost 50-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Howe (Howe, TX)
