Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Central Texas Christian Lions (Temple, TX) and the host Florence Buffaloes (Florence, TX), saw Central Texas Christian's basketball squad hold off Florence by a tally of 56-51.

With the victory, Central Texas Christian improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Holland (Holland, TX) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Holland lost 48-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Troy (Troy, TX)
