Yoncalla Eagles (Yoncalla, OR) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Crow Cougars (Eugene, OR), 46-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Yoncalla upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign.

Next up, the Cougars play the Mohawk Mustangs (Marcola, OR) in a 1A Mountain West bout, on Monday, December 12. Crow will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 63-58 non-league loss to Central Linn (Halsey, OR).
