California High School Basketball - San Dieguito Academy nudges Foothills Christian
December 8, 2022: Encinitas, CA 92024 San Dieguito Academy Mustangs (Encinitas, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Foothills Christian Knights (El Cajon, CA), 63-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, San Dieguito Academy upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Mustangs host Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-4.
Next up, the Knights clash with the La Jolla Country Day Torreys (La Jolla, CA) in a Coastal bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Foothills Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Torreys go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 80-62 non-league win over Helix (La Mesa, CA).
