California High School Basketball - Homestead holds off Prospect
December 8, 2022: Saratoga, CA 95070 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) and the host Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA), saw Homestead's basketball squad hold off Prospect by a tally of 48-45.
With the victory, Homestead improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Los Altos (Los Altos, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Los Altos won 46-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Prospect will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 60-54 non-league loss to Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA).
