In Thursday's non-league outing, the Laramie Plainsmen (Laramie, WY) basketball squad edged the host Star Valley Braves (Afton, WY), by a count of 63-56.

The Plainsmen (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Riverton (Riverton, WY). The Wolverines go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Riverton was tipped by Sheridan (Sheridan, WY), 66-54, in a non-league outing.
