The Martin Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Odem Owls to 31 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gregory-Portland for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Martin will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 57-53 non-league loss to Palmview (La Joya, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-3.

The Owls (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Uvalde (Uvalde, TX). The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) come into the non-league contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Uvalde was routed by La Vernia (La Vernia, TX), 50-38, in a non-league contest.
