Peaster Greyhounds (Peaster, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wimberley Texans (Wimberley, TX), 58-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Peaster upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Reagan County (Big Lake, TX) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Reagan County lost 56-48 in their recent non-league bout against Melissa (Melissa, TX)

Next up, the Texans play the Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Wimberley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record.
