California High School Basketball - Santa Margarita crushes San Gabriel Academy
December 8, 2022: Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688 Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting San Gabriel Academy Eagles (San Gabriel, CA), 58-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Santa Margarita upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Eagles host Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Mater Dei Catholic won 72-62 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop's (La Jolla, CA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Village Christian Crusaders (Sun Valley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. San Gabriel Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
