December 8, 2022: Alvord, TX 76225 The Aubrey Chaparrals (Aubrey, TX) basketball felled the host Alvord Bulldogs (Alvord, TX), 48-37 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Chaparrals (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Vernon (Vernon, TX). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Vernon was beaten by Nocona (Nocona, TX), 52-16, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Tioga for a 2A Region II District 13 test on Tuesday, December 13. Alvord will encounter a squad coming off a 59-23 non-league win over Prairie Valley (Nocona, TX). The record now stands at 7-6.
