The Ansonia Tigers basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Bradford Railroaders to 14 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union City for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Ansonia will meet a Indians team coming off a 47-39 league win over Centerville (Centerville, IN). The Indians record now stands at 4-5.

The Railroaders (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH). The Arrows enter the Western Ohio contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Preble Shawnee triumphed over Franklin Monroe (Pitsburg, OH), 50-36, in a league contest.
