In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Blue River Valley Vikings basketball team scored a decisive 56-15 triumph over the Knightstown Panthers.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) in a Mid-Eastern match, on Friday, December 9. Blue River Valley will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Blackhawks enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 36-34 non-league loss to Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN).
