The Fitzgerald Spartans basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Marine City Mariners to 36 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Haven for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Fitzgerald will battle a Rockets team coming off a 41-32 non-league loss to Warren Woods-Tower (Warren, MI). The Rockets record now stands at 1-4.

The Mariners (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Clawson (Clawson, MI). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record.
