Heritage Christian Academy Chargers (Olathe, KS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS), 34-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Heritage Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Chargers travel to Lebo (Lebo, KS) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Lebo won 45-43 in their recent non-league bout against Osage City (Osage City, KS)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Kansas City Christian School Panthers (Prairie Village, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Iola will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 49-26 non-league loss to Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS).
