Arkansas High School Basketball - Hermitage overwhelmed by Rison
December 8, 2022: Hermitage, AR 71647 The Rison Wildcats basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Hermitage Hermits to 25 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Junction City for a 2A Region 8 contest on Friday, December 9. Rison will battle a Dragons team coming off a 52-16 league loss to Ouachita (Donaldson, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 1-2.
The Hermits (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bearden (Bearden, AR). The Bears come into the 1A Region 8 contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Bearden triumphed over Smackover (Smackover, AR), 44-26, in a non-league contest.
